Spinal Decompression

What Is Spinal Decompression?

Spinal decompression uses controlled traction to gently unload targeted areas of the cervical or lumbar spine.

The goal is to reduce mechanical stress and improve comfort while allowing patients to participate in an individualized rehabilitation program.

Treatment recommendations depend on your examination, symptoms, medical history and imaging when available.

What Makes Our Approach Different?

Advanced Decompression Technology

Modern equipment allows us to customize treatment based on the region and condition being treated.

More Than Just Decompression

When appropriate, your treatment plan may combine chiropractic care, rehabilitation, shockwave therapy, red light therapy and other conservative approaches.

30 Years of Clinical Experience

Dr. Edward Esposito has approximately 30 years of chiropractic experience and advanced experience treating spinal and musculoskeletal conditions.

Convenient Miami Care

No complicated referral process is required to schedule an initial evaluation.

What Does Treatment Feel Like?

Most patients relax comfortably while the decompression table applies controlled unloading to the spine.

A typical treatment lasts approximately 20–30 minutes.

Your recommended frequency depends on your examination and clinical findings.

Find Out Whether You’re a Candidate

Spinal decompression isn’t appropriate for everyone.

We’ll review your symptoms, examination findings and available MRI or imaging to determine whether conservative decompression care may be appropriate for you.

Individual results vary. Spinal decompression is not a substitute for emergency medical care or surgery when surgery is medically necessary. Treatment is provided only when clinically appropriate.
